STATE PRISON MOTORCYCLE FESTIVAL, DENMARK

State Prison Motorcycle Festival lies about 1 kilometer from the main European Touring Route, so there's really no excuse for not turning up, for the 4 days of fun, great music, thousands of motorcycles, and riders and clubs from all over Europe! A lot of them use the ETR to get there, and to visit new touring locations on the way home again. ETR Event Crew are going to be there, so there's every reason that you should be there also - so join us for 4 days of debauchery in Denmark!!

During the event, the old rustic prison buildings and the entire area around FÆNGSLET in Horsens provide the framework for the State Prison Motorcycle Festival. The event is for the whole family, and for everyone else, no matter what motorcycle you own, what you ride, or what you have ridden. Anyone can let themselves in and out of the institution, to the sound of world-class music, and prison-gastronomy catering for all budgets.

We all need fresh air and new energy, when we climb onto the motorbikes after a long winter. Fresh air as the setting for new experiences, lifestyle and happiness. Something that can inspire us to get on the road, and ride towards new horizons. Although Denmark is a small country, we have a great culture for getting out and exploring on two wheels, to the smell of warm asphalt and petrol.

The area around Horsens is perfect for fantastic motorcycle trips, both before, during, or after the event. Tours along the coast, or a Road Trip into the Lake Highlands, through nice forests, along lakeshores, and through areas of great natural beauty.

HARD TIMES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE WALLS

State Prison Motorcycle Festival takes place in the enclosed section of the prison, in the middle of the city of Horsens, both outside and inside the walls. Outside the walls, you’ll find State Prison Campground and a large motorcycle universe with stalls and exhibitions. Within the walls, are State Prison Party Yard, with world-class music, the Main Stage, Beer Festival, Wine Cellar, chill-out areas, and a variety of stalls selling culinary experiences, and much more.
